1. How do I EDIT MY REGISTRATION DETAILS?

Registration details for an event such as swim time, t-shirt size or class (i.e. Beginner/Open/Pro) may be edited by choosing "Questions / Update Resgistration" from the Participants menu and entering your Confirmation Code from your printed or emailed receipt.  After clicking the Next button, choose the option to "Change current registration details" and click Next.

This option is available only if the race director permits it and is generally accessible until a few days prior to an event when the roster is being finalized.

2. Ask a GENERAL QUESTION regarding my registration?

Choose "Questions / Update Resgistration" from the Participants menu and enter your contact information or your Confirmation Code from your printed or emailed receipt.  After clicking the Next button, choose the option to "Ask a question" and click Next.

3. How do I CONVERT MY REGISTRATION CATEGORY from an Indivual to Relay or vice versa?

If permitted by the race director, you may change to transfer from one registration category to another.  Note that you will receive a full credit for your original registration amount in the form of a gift code which may be used only by you (using the same login) to re-register.  Any increases in cost for the new registration due to price change must be paid when you register.  If registering for a category which costs less than the original, you will not reimburesed the difference.

To change categories, choose "Questions / Update Resgistration" from the Participants menu and entering your Confirmation Code from your printed or emailed receipt.  After clicking the Next button, choose the option to "Cancel registration and receive credit to change category " and click Next.

Do not use this option if you are simply trying to change your class (i.e. Open, Beginner, Pro) for your current registration -- see "How do I edit my registration details above."

If the event is full and you receive a gift code to re-register under a different category, use your gift code to bypass the "Registration is not currently available" screen.

This option is available only if the race director permits it and is generally accessible until a few days prior to an event when the roster is being finalized.

4. Why do I have multiple entries for 'SPORTSWARE INC / RD20.COM RACE SERVICES on my online credit card statement after registering for an event?

For each attempt made to authorize your credit card, your issuing bank reserves the amount as a "pending" transaction.  If SportsWare's bank chooses to not accept the authorization for various reasons (i.e. your address does not match the address on record for your credit card), your issuing bank will keep these pending transactions for certain amount of time (anythere from 24 hours to 5 business days).  You will not be charged for any fees for which you receive an error at checkout.

If the pending transactions are not removed from your account within a few days, please contact your issuing bank.

5. How do I CANCEL MY REGISTRATION for a partial refund?

If a race director has chosen to allow cancellations, you will see the text "Cancellations are enabled for this event" on an event's detail page. 

To cancel your registration, choose "Questions / Update Resgistration" from the Participants menu and entering your Confirmation Code from your printed or emailed receipt.  After clicking the Next button, choose the option to "Cancel registration for partial refund" and click Next.  The full terms that a race director has specified for event cancellations will show and must be agreed to before continuing. 

After cancelling, you will receive a gift code for a percentage of your original registration that may be used for future registrations according to the details chosen by the race director and detailed at the beginning of the process.

6. How do I CHANGE MY NAME, BIRTHDATE OR ADDRESS in my profile?

To manage your personal information, first login to RD2.0.  Then, choose 'Manage Account' in the top left corner and then the 'Manage Profile option".

7. On the Participant List, why is the AGE LISTED DOES NOT MATCH MY CURRENT AGE??

For some events the age used to determine your age group on race day is not your current age.  An example is all USA Triathlon-sanctioned events, which requires using each participants age on the last day of the year.  The date used to determine your age for a specific event is listed at the bottom of the Participant List.

8. I LOST MY USERNAME OR PASSWORD.  How can I retrieve it?

While registering for an event, you will be asked for your login and password.  Click the option to "Send me my password".  You may enter either your username or email address and your password will be sent to the email on record.

9. How do I use a GIFT CODE?

You may receive a gift code from a race director for various reasons or for cancelling/transfering categories from an event.

Register normally for an event.  At checkout, when the summary of your shopping cart is shown, enter your gift code in the "Gift / Discount Code" and click the Apply button.  The amount should be deducted from your total.

10. What is a BYPASS CODE and how do I use it?

If registration for an event is full, the race director may choose to give you a bypass code to allow you to register. 

When attempting to register you will see a "Registration for this event is full" screen and a text box allowing you to enter a bypass code.  Enter your bypass code and click Go to continue to registration.

11. I can't find my participant or volunteer CONFIRMATION CODE and would like to edit my registration details.

Choose "Questions / Update Resgistration" from the Participants menu and enter your contact information.  After clicking the Next button, choose the option to "Ask a question" and click Next.  Enter a general ticket requesting your confirmation code.

Confirmation codes will only be sent to either the email address used at payment or used for the registration.

12. How do I enter the WAITLIST for an event which is full?

If waitlist is enabled by a race director for an event which is sold out, you will see "Waitlist" as the race status on the list of events.

To enter the waitlist, click on the registration link from the event details page and click the "Register for waitlist" button.  You will be shown the number of people currently on the wait list and the fee to apply for the waitlist for this event.  Read and agree to the terms of the waitlist chosen by the race director. 

In the event that your waitlist entry is not accepted into a full registration, you will receive a gift code for the waitlist fee for use in future registrations.
